Snatched: Native Boarding School Survivor Edith Young
The bodies of hundreds of native Paiute children were discovered in unmarked graves in Utah over the summer of 2021. Until this discovery, Amanda hadn’t realized there had been boarding schools for kidnapped native children in Utah.
This realization prompted her to wonder how many other white people are ignorant about the history of native boarding schools in the places where they live.
After doing a ton of research, Amanda was shocked to learn how many of these schools existed in the United States and Canada.
